When you contact Kidswordsmyth Floor Coating, you are using a referral service. The first conversation concerns your location and the floor coating work you need. Calls are answered Mon-Fri 9am-9pm ET. Those hours do not establish a provider's installation schedule or confirm an appointment.

You can also use the request form. Include your zip code so coverage can be checked for your home.

Discuss the floor with the provider

An independent provider handles technical questions about your slab and a possible installation. They may ask whether the concrete is bare, painted or already coated. Be ready to describe peeling spots, visible cracks and areas that stay damp.

Photos can help explain what you see. They do not settle every question about the condition of the concrete, so ask whether an inspection is needed before a written quote.

Ask how the work fits your week

A shorter application process does not necessarily mean you can park on the floor sooner. Ask the provider to explain the schedule for the system they propose.

• Who moves cabinets, appliances or stored belongings?
• How will preparation affect access through the garage?
• When can people walk on the surface?
• When can vehicles and heavy items return?

Mention school runs, work shifts or deliveries that affect access. Agree on where household members can pass while the work area is in use.

Read beyond the finish name

Epoxy and polyaspartic describe coating materials, but a proposal needs more detail. Ask what preparation is included and how the provider will address defects they find. Discuss traction when the floor is wet, cleaning needs and the appearance you want.

Request the scope, payment terms and any warranty in writing. Ask who to contact if conditions discovered during preparation change the price or schedule.

Choose after reviewing the details

Providers in our network are independent businesses. You decide whether to hire the provider and accept the proposed work. A referral does not require you to proceed with installation.
